Tip #1: Brand Your Event
Even if your event is a relatively small event, a unique name, slogan, and logo can help to sell the event. This is especially true for fundraising events. All your communication should utilize the brand.
Tip #2: Use Meeting Technology
Not every meeting needs to be face-to-face. Consider using tools like GoToMeeting for your meetings, or a virtual office/Intranet where people working on the event can easily access information such as schedules, check lists, registration information, and so on.
Tip #3: Document Your Event
Not everyone can attend your event, so you should consider documenting the event. You can take videos people can reference, distribute PowerPoint presentations, or generate an after-event report of “Hot Tips” or something sharing primary information provided.
